I want to thank our donors for their continued support and care towards our community’s future. The last year and a half were very challenging times for us all, and I hope everyone is and remains in good spirits! Right now, we’re doing everything possible to continue to serve our communities and carry on our work as best we can. Now, more than ever, our community and Ukraine need us. And we need you!
Please see some of our accomplishments this year that were only possible thanks to your trust and generosity;
– voicing the Ukrainian Canadian community’s policy positions at virtual events and meetings with Canadian Cabinet Ministers, political leaders, parliamentarians, and policymakers,
– advocating for and secure continued and strong Canadian support of Ukraine as the Ukrainian people bravely defended their country against Russia’s aggression,
– hosting webinars and virtual conferences,
– coordinating celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence,
– successfully petition the Liquor Control Board of Ontario to remove “Stalinskaya” vodka from their shelves,
– writing a NATO Leaders Summit letter to the Prime Minister, a six-point plan to counter Russia’s increasing threat to world peace,
– launching the first-ever national UCC Community Engagement Survey,
– writing and producing historical videos to document UCC community accomplishments in the past 80 years.
