Celebrating Canada’s Sesquicentennial
Our Canada 150 project: ‘Youth Engagement Youth’, is underway.
Young people and their organizations from our community are reaching out to other communities and groups to host events celebrating Canada’s sesquicentennial. Through provincial community animators UCC will be reaching out, with financial and other support, to groups from BC to Ontario to organize these events. These can be anything from friendly inter-community soccer games, through public performances and parades to citizenship ceremonies. You are limited only by your imagination.
The Ukrainian Canadian community, through the UCC Invictus Games Organizing Committee (IGOC), is supporting the participation of Ukraine’s soldier-athletes in the Games in partnership with the Government of Ukraine. Learn more here.
